Carpet Cleaning: What Do the Experts Know?
While your carpeting may not require the regular cleaning that other types of flooring demand, your carpet should be professionally
cleaned once every year to 15 months, even if you vacuum regularly. Professional carpet cleaning extends the life of
the carpeting and contributes to better air quality, reducing allergies and illness.
Soil retardants:
Most carpets are now factory-treated with a coating that helps the carpet fibers shed water and spills. The
key is cleaning up the spills quickly. Once a carpet is five years old or so, you may need to have it retreated, at least
in the high traffic areas. We use Dupont Protection on all fabrics $10.00

Anti-microbial treatment:
The cleaning itself will kill most mold, mildew, yeast and other microbes, but it is practically impossible
to kill all of them. The anti-microbial treatment creates a hostile environment for these microbes to reproduce and spread
and will help control odor problems, extend the carpet's useful life, and provide considerable relief to allergy sufferers.
We offer mold control in all air handlers we clean with this treatment it keeps the mold from growing back.
Pet Odor
Pet odor is a very common problem. In some cases our normal cleaning process is all that is needed
to correct minor pet problems. The powerful rinsing action of our cleaning system can effectively remove urine from carpet
fiber.
We use Chemspec's Urine contamination Treatment to remove odors. It is applies to the Carpet 15 mins
or longer before cleaning process is to be done. Giving it time to break down the bacteria and urine salts in the carpet.
Once it has set in we then clean the carpet using industry standard chemicals to remove soil. Some pet stains
can not be removed due to the acid content in the urine staining the carpet fibers. $10.00

How it works:
When our specially trained upholstery care technicians arrive at your home, they start with a pre-inspection
to identify problem areas. Any problem spot areas are pre-treated. Then the Nation Two-Step Upholstery Deep Clean process
goes to work:
- Clean One of our special heated upholstery cleaning solutions is applied to the fabric to loosen imbedded
dirt.
- Rinse It’s followed by a thorough fiber rinse and extraction step to remove the dirt along with the
cleaning solution.
